Ch. Lamington's Little Dickens

Dickens with award judges

"Dickens' essentially named herself when a young puppy. She clearly was not "little" but she certainly was `full of the Dickens'.

Dickens finished her conformation championship quickly as a young bitch. In her prime she weighed 74 lb., was a darkish wheaton with a black mask, and was very substantive in bone and muscle.

In 1990, she was artificially inseminated using frozen semen from the noted Ch. Raintree's Dakota Outlaw from California. The resulting litter produced Ch. Lamington's Lady Wrangler.

In 1992, she was artificially inseminated using chilled semen from the multiple-Best In Show Ch. Southridge's Indiana Jones from Tennessee; this breeding produced Ch. Lamington's Headwind ("Hetty").

Dickens' parents ("Kari" and "Goodyear"), her daughters Ch. Lamington's Lady Wrangler and Ch. Lamington's Headwind, her grandson Ch. Lamington's Sir Charles ("Chico"), and her great granddaughter Lamington's Capérucita, F.Ch. ("Rosie") are all OFA Excellent.
